A delegation from the Mandaean World Congress visited Mandi and Lecia in Sydney on Friday morning, 10/07/2020, and the delegation included His Eminence Salah Jubouri, head of the Mandaean Sabian community in Australia, Mr Fouad Chasib Sobbi, President of the Mandaean World Congress, Mr. Monther N Amer, official of the conference Media Center, and the members of the conference, Mr. Masoud Sabbi, Mrs. Shahla Al-Khamisi, Mr. Fawzi Abboud Khammas and Mr. Muhannad Salim Halihal, and the delegation also included Mr. Riad Al-Khamisi and Mr. BoL Nazim is a boy. We were received in the land of the Mandi project by Mr. Khusraw Al-Kahili, the supervisor of the implementation of the project. We listened to a detailed explanationof the obstacles that faced the implementation of leveling the land and preparing it for construction, Mr. Khusraw also praised the efforts of volunteers from the community who contributed in some stages and also thanked a number of engineers and business owners from outside the sect who reduced the costs  Or provide engineering consultancy at discounted prices. The most important thing in the project is the basin that the water comes from the river in payment and not withdrawn  by copper pipes  compatible with our Mandaean law. Then the water returns to the river after being filtered by gravel free of impurities. This project is the largest Mandi ever in terms of the area of ten acres donated by a number of members of the community. There is a road for people with special needs that is close to Baptism basin . It is hoped that this project will be completed during this year. At the end of the visit, everyone thanked the efforts of Mr. Khusraw for his efforts to complete the project.
